Welcome to my website! My name is Clara and I teach 5th and 6th grade. I have taught this split grade for 2 years now and am really enjoying it. I graduated with a BS in Education from a small school in Chicago and am working on my MAT at Western Oregon University. Before I got my own classroom I subbed for just over a year.

I am totally obsessed with my dog Chance and will do a lot of things with him like, hiking, camping, walks and sometimes we just like to hang out. I love to travel and to explore new places. I am my happiest whenever the weather is hot, I am by a body of water and I have a good book to read.

I like to think that I am pretty tech savvy. I can pick up on how technology works pretty quickly and get my way around a computer or device. In my classroom I have a SmartBoard that I am hoping to use A LOT this year. I also have a Doc Cam and a computer. My students use iPad's as well.
